LLWC Named 2023 WA Winery Of The Year!

We are thrilled to share that Liberty Lake Wine Cellars is part of the Fabulous Four, WA State Wineries of the Year! We’ve been keeping this a secret since we learned of the news from the WA State Wine Awards in May. To say we were shocked is an understatement. The award was won with our 2020 vintage, including a Best in Class for our 2020 Touriga Nacional Reserve, 8 Gold Medals for other wines, and a Diamond of the Decade Award for our 2013 Heritage Reserve (complete list of winning wines below). We share this award with 3 other amazing WA Wineries, and we’re excited to celebrate with all of you in the tasting room!

WAugust Spokane Winery Association Promotion!
We, along with the Spokane Winery Association, and the member wineries are teaming up for some wine fun this August! Stop by our tasting room and grab a punch card, then visit 4 other participating wineries (5 wineries total) to get your card stamped. Once 5 wineries are visited, leave your card at the final winery to be entered to win gift cards for local wine! The event runs August 1st, 2023 through August 31st, 2023. August 11th - 2020 Malbec & 2020 Syrah Reserve Release
We’re excited to release our two newest wines on August 11th. The 2020 Malbec is hot off a gold medal win from the WA State Wine Awards with notes of raspberry and chocolate covered cherries. The 2020 Syrah Reserve is just as it always is, a big, bold red with blackberry and vanilla notes that will be great drank with or without food.
 
Yoga Uncorked at LLWC

Friday, July 7th – 2022 Tahija. Chardonnay Release
It’s BACK! Our newest Chardonnay is back in the tasting room on Friday, July 7th. This vintage boasts tropical fruit notes and will be perfect at a picnic, on the lake, or in your backyard.
 
Tuesday, July 12th – Friends of the Liberty Lake Library Summer Soiree’ 
We’re excited to host the Summer Soiree’ put on by the Friends of the Liberty Lake Library again this year. The event is almost sold out, but you can still participate in the fun by bidding on one of the silent auction items by clicking here.
 
Bottles and Bites each Friday – Making Date Night Easy
We offer a selection of light bites that pair perfectly with a bottle of LLWC wine. We’re open on Fridays until 8:00 for the perfect date night stop. Or if you have plans, grab a bottle and bites to go.

April showers mean… perfect wine tasting weather!

It’s that time of year when the weather isn’t sure what to do. But it makes for perfect wine tasting days. We have a fantastic, award-winning lineup, click here to see the entire list of current releases. 
 
And speaking of awards, we received Best of Class in the Savor Northwest Wine Awards for our 2020 Cabernet Sauvigon and 2020 Carmenere, both of which will be released later this year. But you can try their older siblings that are part of the current lineup. For a list of all the winners click here.
 
Finally, bottling season is officially here. We’re starting to bottle our red wines from the 2021 vintage. First up is our newest wine, Touriga Nacional. Stop in to try samples and see winemaking in action.
