2022 Vintage is in Barrel, Ready for Holiday Wine Fest!

We made it to the finish of our 2022 Winemaking Season, and just in time for Holiday Wine Fest weekend and all it’s fun! This vintage started late due to the cold spring and ended with a bang this Monday. We brought in more fruit than ever before which meant more power washing, more seed shoveling, and many more barrels filled. Mark thinks this is an exceptional vintage and we’re anxiously awaiting its release in 2025! For a look at the entire winemaking process, check out our video here.

2022 Vintage Stats:

  • First Grape Harvest – 9/26/22 (Tempranillo)

  • Last Grape Press – 11/14/22 (Petit Verdot)

  • 13 Grape Varietals

  • 55 Tons of Fruit

  • 120 Barrels Filled

  • 3,235 cases!

Winemaking In Action + Gold Medals At LLWC!

Harvest took a lot longer to get here than normal, but once it arrived it came in full force. We’re 25% finished with crush, processing Tempranillo (it was first in the door, a first for us!), Syrah, Merlot, and Zinfandel in the past 10 days. We’ll continue with the harvest (9 more varietals to pick) and start pressing next week. It’s an exciting time at the winery. Follow us on social media to see winemaking in action!

For the next few months, we’ll have portions of the parking lot blocked off for winemaking. But don’t worry, there is plenty of parking along the driveway and on the street. We do ask that you respect our neighbors at both Accrafab (to our east) and Swiss Productions (to our west) and not park at their businesses.

National Orange Wine Day – October 6th!
Join us for a celebration fit for the month! We’re offering 2 bottles for $25.00* the entire month of October! If you haven’t tried our 2019 Gewurztraminer, it’s a must. This 90pt Wine Enthusiast favorite, sat on the skins during fermentation to give it the unique orange color. It’s floral smell mimics a typical Gewurztraminer, but the wine was finished completely dry (no residual sugar) with a red wine mouth feel. This wine pairs great with spicy foods like curry and is a must for the fall season.
*All wine club discounts apply

Gold Medal Wines!
We were excited to learn that we took home GOLD for 4 of our wines in the Great Northwest Invitational wine competition this week! Our 2019 Heritage, 2019 Malbec, and 2019 Sangiovese won Gold AND our 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon won Double Gold. This competition is unique in that we were invited to join and submit specific wines. And the competition is blind, meaning the judges don't know what they're tasting other than what type of wine it is (all Malbecs, all red blends, etc...). Currently our entire red line-up is gold medal winning. It's the best time to come try our wines!

Low Inventory Alert!
We're running low on our 2019 Petit Verdot and 2021 Tahija. Sangiovese Rose'! Stop in and grab a few bottles before they're gone.

Patio Season Continues At Liberty Lake Wine Cellars!

Counting Down the Days to Harvest!

It’s the most exciting time of the year... the time we turn into farmers and start harvesting our grapes! We’re anticipating our first grape harvest in mid-September. And typically it’s the Syrah varietal, but we won’t be certain until we look at the lab work from the vineyards. Until then, our winery is in full blown cleaning mode. We call this “power washing season”, and if you weren’t aware, a winemaker’s best friend is a power washer. Follow us on social media to see winemaking in action!

For the next few months, we’ll have portions of the parking lot blocked off for winemaking. But don’t worry, there is plenty of parking along the driveway and on the street. We do ask that you respect our neighbors at both Acrafab (to our east) and Swiss Productions (to our west) and not park at their businesses.

Low Inventory Alert!
We’re running low on our 2021 Tahija.ä Sangiovese Rose’ AND our 2019 Petit Verdot. Stop in and grab a bottle or two before these vintages are gone.
