In honor of International Chardonnay Day (May 23rd), we’re having a 2022 Tahija. Chardonnay Case Sale! You heard that right, a case sale! We rarely have our wines on sale, but now is your opportunity to stock up on wine for the summer. Our 2022 Tahija. Chardonnay has notes of a tropical fruit bowl with hints of banana, pineapple, and passionfruit. It’s perfect for any sunny day on the patio, in a boat, or at the beach!
$170/case +tax (that's $94 off) – All Wine Club discounts apply

Bouquets for Sale 
We’re excited to have flower bouquets for sale grown by our friends Jen and Dan with Blomsthaus. Current bouquets are a mix of peonies and ranunculus flowers for $25 each (+ tax). Handpicked from their garden, these flowers last much longer than those typically purchased from a store. Flowers will be available for sale this weekend at the winery starting Friday at Noon (Thursday for our wine club members). To pre-reserve your bouquet, respond to this email by Wednesday. 
 
New Releases & Low Inventory Alert!
If you haven’t been into the tasting room recently, we have 3 new releases! Our 2021 Carmenere and 2021 Tempranillo both received Double Gold medals last week at the WA State Wine Awards, the competition that named us the 2023 WA State Winery of the Year. Our other new release, the 2023 Tahija. Sangiovese Rose’ brought home a gold in the same competition. For a full list of results click here.
 
We have low inventory of our 2020 Somm’s Select Reserve Bordeaux-style red blend. We have about 8 cases left of this Double Gold medal winning wine. It’s a great wine to give as a gift or save for yourself. 
 
Our 2020 Merlot is also low inventory. This wine received 91pts from Wine Enthusiast (review here). We have about 6 cases left of this wine.

It’s Spring Release Weekend At LLWC!

As per tradition, we’re partnering with the other Spokane Winery Association members for Spring Release Weekend, this weekend! We’re releasing new wines (Rose’, Tempranillo, & Carmenere), we have the winery stocked with our favorite merchandise, and we have our friends Jen & Dan with Blomsthaus flowers joining us (Friday & Saturday) – the perfect opportunity to stop by for wine and grab a gift for weekend celebrations. Plus it’s looking like perfect patio weather for sunshine and wine. 

New Wines!
We’re excited to release 3 new wines – 2023 Tahija. Sangiovese Rose’, 2021 Carmenere, and 2021 Tempranillo. This year’s vintage of our Sangiovese Rose’ is off-dry meaning it’s slightly sweeter than our past vintages. It has hints of POG juice (passionfruit, orange, guava), which give it an island feel. Trust us, this one is going to go fast! We did not make a sparkling version of this wine, but not to fear, we will be offering glasses of a rotating sparkling wine all summer long. And if you have a growler you were saving from last year, you can return it to us for one free glass pour of anything in our current line-up.
 
Our 2021 Carmenere and 2021 Tempranillo was released last weekend to our Wine Club Members with much excitement. The Tempranillo just received a Gold Medal at the 2024 SavorNW Wine Awards and is quickly proving to be our new go to food wine. It pairs perfectly with our smoked salmon food plate from our friends Tom and Tracy at The Fish Folks (if you haven’t tried this smoked salmon you’re missing out). The 2021 Carmenere is a great example of the 2019 and 2020 vintage coming together as one. It has a hint of jalapeno with a lush, tart finish. Carmenere fans, you do not want to miss this wine. 
 
Low Inventory Alert!
We’re almost sold out of our 2020 Gewurztraminer Reserve (about 1.5 cases). We’ve dropped the price to $12/bottle (original price $20/bottle). It pairs perfectly with quiche or any other eggy/creamy dish. Grab a bottle or two before this award winning wine is gone!
 
Our 2020 Somm’s Select Reserve Bordeaux-style red blend is also almost gone. We have about 10 cases left of this Double Gold medal winning wine. It’s a great wine to give as a gift since it’s got something to offer everyone with a nice, smooth finish.

Patio Wine Season Is Almost Here At LLWC!

Spring is officially here and that means the patio season is about to be in full swing! We’ve already experienced a few nice days and some amazing sunsets. We’re looking forward to many more this spring, summer, and fall. 

We’ve got some exciting things planned this spring. This weekend we’re featuring a Girl Scout cookie wine pairing (details below) and it’s the official beginning of bottling season. We’ll have samples in the tasting room on bottling days. First up is the 2022 Syrah this Saturday. Make sure you’re following us on social media for the most up-to-date bottling information. 

Spring release weekend is scheduled for May 10th – 12th. We’ll have a flower and jewelry pop-up to get your last minute gifts as well as our newest releases, which includes our 2023 Tahija. Sangiovese Rose’. This year’s vintage is off dry with notes of passionfruit, orange, and guava juices that will make you dream of an island vacation. Sadly, we won’t be serving this year’s rose’ sparkling, but we do have a sparkling surprise. Details to come.
 
Girl Scout Cookie Wine Pairing – April 5th – 7th
(while supplies last)
Our 6 year old niece, Libby, became a Girl Scout this year, and it was too hard to resist her cuteness when it came to her selling cookies. We’re pairing 5 cookies with 5 wines. It’s $5 for Wine Club Members and $20 for non-members ($15 is refunded with a bottle purchase). We have a limited supply, so stop in early to get your cookie flight!
