Happy Holidays!

It’s my (Sarah) favorite time of the year. And I finally had an excuse to decorate before Thanksgiving. If you haven’t been to the winery this holiday season, stop by our cozy tasting room and enjoy a glass of wine by the fire.
 
SALE! Continuing through the end of 2016 we have a great deal on our 2011 Heritage red blend (50%  Syrah, 50% Cabernet Sauvignon). When you buy 6 bottles you receive $5 off each bottle. That’s $30 OFF! (Typical cost of a bottle of 2011 Heritage is $35/bottle, sale cost is $30/bottle; must purchase 6 bottles of 2011 Heritage; wine club member discounts apply on top of the $5 off).
 
We still have a few bottles of the 2009 Cabernet Franc, which is our last vintage until the 2016 Cabernet Franc is released in a few years. We also have a few bottles of our 2009 Syrah. Stop by and grab one before they’re gone.

Synopsis: A grumpy yet loveable man finds his solitary world turned on its head when a boisterous young family moves in next door.
 
The book club is a free event and everyone is welcome. We’ll have glasses or bottles of wine for sale along with a small appetizer or dessert. There will be an informal discussion on the chosen book along with time for book lovers to come together to meet new friends and share book recommendations. December 2016: Open – Weather Permitting
We will remain open through December 18th, weather permitting (Saturdays and Sundays 1-5 p.m.). Snow makes our driveway a bit tricky so make sure to check our website and Facebook page for updates on our December hours.

Happy Fall

We made it through our first harvest/crush season. Admittedly, we were fairly nervous going in, but just as everyone told us, it was FUN. And for November we’re ready to celebrate! As we get ready to gear up for the holidays, we hope you’ll get a chance to stop in and taste our new releases.

11/1/16 at 6:30 p.m.: LLWC Book Club
Join us for a fun evening meeting new friends, discussing books, and drinking wine. The book chosen: The Dinner by Herman Koch. Although November 1st is right around the corner, it is not a requirement to have read the book to join us. The next book selection and LLWC Book Club date will be announced on November 1st. Check our Facebook page on November 2nd for the event details.

11/12/16-11/13/16: Double Release Weekend
We’re excited to release our 2012 Tempranillo and 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon. The Tempranillo retails for $28 and the Cabernet Sauvignon for $33. Swing by and grab a bottle!

11/18/16 – 11/20/16: Wine Weekend!
We will be open from Noon to 5 p.m. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday the weekend before Thanksgiving. Come stock up for your holiday weekend. Follow us on Facebook for specials and discounts.

11/26/16 - 11/27/16: Closed
We will be closed Thanksgiving weekend to spend with our family and friends.

Harvest season is almost over and we’ve had so much fun during our first season. If you haven’t been to the winery in the last month, stop by to see the excitement and try some of the grapes harvested for our 2016 vintage.

10/6/16 – EWU Young Professionals Networking Event
Calling all fellow Eastern Washington Alumni. Sarah will be serving the 2011 Aquila red blend and 2013 dry Riesling at the networking event. It starts at 5:30 and tickets are $10/person. Click

10/7/16 – Final First Friday – Music and Photography
Join us for our final First Friday of 2016. Scott and Kevin from Spare Parts are back for another great evening of music from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.; we’ve filled the tasting room with photography by photographer (and wine club member) Jeff O’Shea. It’ll be another great evening at the winery.
 
10/14/16 – Vino! A Wine Shop Wine Tasting

11/1/16 – LLWC Book Club
The first book club event was a success, with 9 great ladies joining in the fun. Our next event is scheduled for November 1st at 6:30 p.m. We’ll have glasses or bottles of wine for sale along with free water, iced tea, and some small appetizer or dessert.

The next book chosen is The Dinner by Herman Koch and portrays how two families’ lives can be drastically changed over the course of one dinner.
