We’ve randomly used our current lineup of wines to create a 10 wine single elimination bracket. For 4 weeks on Thursdays, our wines will go head to head. Members joining us in the tasting room on those Thursdays will vote on the winning wine in each bracket to advance to the next round. At the end of 4 weeks we will crown the winning wine of the 2026 LLWC Wine Bracket! The winner will receive a $100 gift card for LLWC and a bottle of the winning wine.

To enter, Members (we assume 2 people per membership) fill out the wine bracket and return it via email by Wednesday, March 18th to sarah@libertylakewine.com OR stop in the tasting room this week to fill out your bracket.

Members joining us in the tasting room on Thursdays (3/19, 3/26, 4/2, or 4/9) will vote for the winning wine in each bracket. Whichever wine gets the most votes in their bracket will advance to the next round (ties will be decided by random draw). On the final week, the Member with a correct complete bracket plus the total number of votes* received in the final week will be the winner. If there are multiple people with a correct bracket and the correct number of winning votes, the winner will be decided by random draw.
(*Votes are the number of people who voted in the last week of the competition. Hint: last year, 46 votes were cast on the last week).

This is open and free for all wine club members to play. We assume two people make up a membership, meaning the person who signed up and their partner can both enter. All Members are able to play by turning in a completed bracket. Need not be present on a Thursday to play or win. All completed brackets must be turned in by Wednesday, March 18th to be eligible. And remember, when filling out your bracket, you’re choosing which wine will advance based on the people voting on Thursday, it is not what wine you would necessarily choose.

To fill out your bracket, choose the wine you think will advance to the next round. For example, in Week 1, Path of the Gods is up against Somm’s Select. If you think Somm’s Select will get the most votes in Week 1, write Somm’s Select in the space for Week 2, which will be putting Somm’s Select against Carmenere in Week 2. In Week 2 if you think Carmenere will get more votes than Somm’s Select, write Carmenere in the space for Week 3, and so on until you have a completed bracket.
